Rainbow discs twirl their way down a screw pole. Each disc has two colors and spins freely in little hands, and the base flips between wobble and steady. Stack them by size, by color, or any way at all, then pull the pole and watch them all spiral down.

How to use this toy to build talking

Stage 1: Getting ready

Watch it wobble

  1. Spin one disc down the pole and give it a big reaction: "Wow!"
  2. Then stop and wait, with the next disc in your hand.
  3. A look, a reach or a wiggle counts. Spin the next one right away.

Stage 2: First sounds & words

Round and round

  1. Say the same word every time a disc spins: "Spin!"
  2. After a few turns, hold a disc at the top and pause.
  3. Any sound or word from your child starts the spin. Then say it back: "Spin!"

Stage 3: Putting words together

Ring on, ring off

  1. Talk in two-word bites as you play: "Ring on." "Ring off." "Red ring."
  2. When your child says one word, add one: "ring" becomes "big ring".
  3. Don't ask them to repeat. Just keep modeling.

Stage 4: Back and forth

Which ring next?

  1. Hold up two discs: "Big or little?" "Red or blue?" Then wait.
  2. Stack the tower together, taking turns to choose.
  3. At the top, ask "What happens now?" before you pull the pole.

Again, again

  1. Put the word board next to the stacker.
  2. Touch "again" on the board every time you restart the spin.
  3. When your child touches any word, act on it right away so it works every time.
