A plan built for your child

Tell us how your child communicates today and what you'd like to work on. We'll write a five-day plan using the toys you have.

1. Build a profile

Age, how your child communicates, sensory likes and dislikes, and which toys you have. It takes about two minutes.

2. Pick a skill

Asking for more, taking turns, making choices, asking for help and more. We show which skills fit your child's stage.

3. Play and track

Follow five short lessons and log how your child responds. When they're ready, we suggest the next skill.

Three habits that work with any toy

Play first. Words follow.

Follow their lead

Play with the part of the toy your child likes, even if it's "the wrong way". Interest keeps them engaged, and engagement comes before words.

Pause and wait

Stop right before the exciting part and count to 10 in your head. A look, a sound, a reach or a word all count as your child's turn.

Add one word

Say back what your child says, plus one word. "Ball" becomes "blue ball". If they don't use words yet, name what they're doing with one word.
